What
is it?
Pyruvate
is an end product of energy metabolism that our bodies make every day.
Pyruvate occurs naturally in many foods including red meat and apples.
Pinnacle Pyruvate 1000 contains the calcium, sodium and potassium salts of
pyruvic acid (Pyruvate) together with the synergist dihydroxyacetone (DHA).
These ingredients are patented for use in weight loss and fat reduction as
well as maximizing exercise capacity.
What
does it do?
Extensive
research has been conducted on Pyruvate for over 25 years and clinical
studies have found that Pyruvate can promote 37% greater weight loss and
48% greater fat loss. These results were found in studies which compared
subjects who used Pyruvate while following a low-fat diet vs. subjects who
didn't use Pyruvate while following a low-fat diet. Pyruvate promotes the
loss of fat while preserving lean body mass (muscle tissue). When a person
loses weight, they lose fat, water and lean body tissue (muscle). However,
muscle is the fat-burning powerhouse of the body, so a supplement that
helps promote fat loss and preserve lean tissue, is ideal since it
maintains the natural fat burning capability of the body while achieving
the goal of fat and weight loss. While the exact mechanisms of how
Pyruvate works is unclear, it seems that the body uses Pyruvate to
manipulate fat metabolism through a process of fat oxidation. The net
result is significant fat loss. In separate clinical studies, after
resuming a normal diet, subjects taking Pyruvate gained back 55% less body
fat than those not taking Pyruvate. In addition to the fat loss benefits,
Pyruvate also increases the uptake of protein and the glucose energy
supply available to working muscles. Studies at a leading U.S. medical
school research center revealed that subjects taking Pyruvate experienced
less fatigue during prolonged exercise and were able to increase
performance from 20% - 50%. Pinnacle Pyruvate 1000 incorporates a patented
Advanced Delivery System to optimize delivery in the body. Through a
bioactive process, inulin (a long-chain fructose molecule) is combined
with Pyruvate to form a unique blended complex which acts as
"carrier" for the Pyruvate "cargo" helping to be

blood stream. This inulinization also works as an extended release

Instructions
Pyruvate
is recommended to competitive and non-competitive athletes, as well as
non-athletes who are looking to reduce body fat. As part of a diet and
exercise program, take 2 tablets, three times per day, preferably before
