L-Carnitine is an amino acid found in high concentrations in heart and liver tissue, where it participates in metabolizing fatty acids into energy in the mitochondria. L-Carnitine also facilitates the metabolism of carbohydrates and enhances the rate of oxidative phosphorylation.
L-Carnitine works synergistically with Co-Q10, an antioxidant and energy co-factor that is found in the inner membrane of the mitochondria.
Ingredients
Cellulose, magnesium stearate and silicon dioxide. Capsule consists of gelatin.
Suggested Use
Take 1 to 4 capsules per day, or as directed by your qualified health consultant. Keep tightly closed and away from moisture. Do not refrigerate.
